Poem for the Day: Then, You Do It!

"Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye. (Luke 6:42)

Then, You Do It!
If you have observed others to be unloving,
Well, then, you love.
If you see others being unforgiving,
Then, you make sure you forgive.
If others appear nonchalant,
Then, you care.
If others are yelling,
Then, you speak softly.
If others are unkind,
Then, you be kind.
If others are gossiping,
Then, you speak well of others.
If others are sinning,
Then, you stand for righteousness.
If you are full of complaints,
Just as the many in the world,
Of what others should be doing for the good,
If you really want to make a difference,
Do the very thing you see lacking in others,
Then, you do it!
